Trash streamer who threatened Mizulina transferred money to her for moral damages

The scum streamer from Yaroslavl, Aslan Durdiev, who threatened the head of the League for Safe Internet, Ekaterina Mizulina, paid a fine for the insult and transferred 10 thousand rubles to her as compensation for moral damage. RIA Novosti reports this regarding lawyer Alexey Alexandrov.

On October 14, the Yaroslavl court began considering the criminal case of a trashy broadcaster accused of intentionally causing grievous bodily harm and threatening to kill. According to investigators, in June 2021, the man attacked a 28-year-old local resident during a broadcast, disfiguring the victim's face.

This attracted the attention of representatives of the Safe Internet League, who sent an appeal to the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs with a request to investigate this fact. Later, in an online broadcast, Durdiev threatened to cause physical pain to Mizulina.

In response, the lawyers claim that Durdiev’s words do not pose a threat.

“When writing an indictment, you need to clarify what phrases mean,” the lawyer said.

Earlier, a case was opened against blogger Nekoglai for threatening Mizulina under Part 1 of Article 128 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Slander"). Mizulina said that the blogger began threatening to kill her after he "brazenly lied" and slandered her work at the Safe Internet League. According to her, the purpose of the deliberate threats and dissemination of false information is an attempt to put pressure on her as a public figure regarding her position on the fact that she discredits the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
