Pamfilova: Women More Often Choose Electronic Voting
Men made up only 34% of users of this form of voting. Pamfilova noted this fact as surprising and noted the activity of women aged 36 to 50. According to TASS, almost half of them chose electronic voting.
Pamfilova also noted that the composition of the election commission has changed significantly due to the influx of young people. According to her, the systematic work of recent years has allowed the younger generation to be involved in the election process. The new employees are the optimal combination of experience and youthful enthusiasm.
In addition, the Chairman of the National Electoral Commission expressed gratitude for the establishment of the title of “Honorary Worker of the Electoral System” and emphasized the importance of this recognition for participants in the electoral process.
Pamfilova also noted that the election campaign was successful and enjoyed high voter confidence. Voter turnout at the federal remote electronic voting platform was 90%.
