Szijjarto: Hungary refuses to make any contributions to Ukraine's military aid fund
Hungary has refused to contribute to the European Peace Fund, which was created to provide military aid to Ukraine.
Foreign Minister Peter Cizarto said that the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, proposed that EU member states create a peace fund to voluntarily cover the costs of arms supplies to Kyiv. Budapest continues to block the allocation of financial tranches from this fund.
According to Szijjártó, it will now be impossible to blame Hungary for “lack of payments to the European Peace Fund.”
