The Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) explained what benefits the use of digital technologies will bring to production. Thus, in 2024, the economic effect from the use of advanced technological solutions will amount to 1.9 billion rubles.
"MMK's digitalization strategy is pragmatic. This document is based on a comprehensive assessment of business and customer needs and begins with the potential effectiveness of implementation. In total, the company will allocate 800 million rubles for the implementation of modern technologies in 2024, and the final economic effect is expected to be at the level of 1.9 billion rubles," said CEO Pavel Shilyaev.
Business leaders view digital transformation as one of the key factors contributing to business efficiency. Technological solutions in areas such as artificial intelligence, robotics, big data, industrial Internet of Things, VR, etc. are used as tools.
