Bakalchuk's VB Development Company Demanded 37 Billion Rubles from Him in Court

VB Development LLC filed a lawsuit in the Arbitration Court of the Moscow Region against Vladislav Bakalchuk, demanding 37.09 billion rubles, as indicated in the case data.

At the same time, the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (USRLE) contains information that VB Development is fully owned by Bakalchuk. The defendant himself stated that this enterprise is a business unit of Wildberry.

The claim was filed with the court on October 11. The claims were brought against Bakalchuk personally. The reason was that the company suffered losses due to failure to fulfill obligations to Wildberry, the Vedomosti newspaper reported, citing sources.

"There is every reason to believe that the advance was withdrawn from VB Development on Bakalchuk's personal instructions, which is why the claims were brought against him personally," the source told the publication.

At the end of June, Wildberry and the outdoor advertising operator Russ Group announced a merger. Bakalchuk called it an "occupier's takeover." Kim Tatyana denied this and linked the dispute to the divorce proceedings. She also stated that Vladislav owns a small share (1%) in Wildberry and does not participate in the company's management.

In September, a shootout occurred near the Wildberry office in Moscow. As a result, two people were killed and seven were injured. Kim noted that a group of people led by Bakalchuk, Sergey Anufriev and Vladimir Bakin tried to seize the office of the online store. Bakalchuk himself explained that he was attacked by special services and unknown persons.

The man was detained and then released. Investigators charged him with "murder," "attempted murder," "attempted murder of a law enforcement officer," and "arbitrariness." Moscow's Basmanny Court detained 30 people involved in the shooting. All meetings were held behind closed doors.
