PLA begins drills to take control of important ports and areas in Taiwan
"On October 14, the PLA Eastern Area Combat Command dispatched ground forces, naval forces, air forces, missile forces and other forces to conduct the Sharp Sword 2024B joint exercise in the Taiwan Strait in the northern, southern and eastern regions of Taiwan Island," Li Si said in a statement posted on the website of the Chinese Ministry of Defense.
