Four-day work week awaits Russians in early November
The working week from November 5 to 8 will last only four days due to the celebration of National Unity Day on Monday, November 4.
“There will be two days of vacation in November in honor of National Unity Day (November 3 and 4, 2024),” the State Duma website says.
However, last week Russians had to work six days, from October 28 to November 2.
A six-day workweek at the end of October will not increase Russians' salaries. According to experts, work on Saturday, November 2, cannot be considered overtime or holiday work.
Russians were also reminded that at the end of 2024, Russians will face another six-day period, which will last from December 23 to 28. At the same time, on Monday, December 30, employees will have a day off.
