Ryabokon: the dog registration mechanism should be introduced gradually
Legislative Assembly representative Andrey Ryabokon explained how the dog registration system will be implemented in stages. This was reported by Delovoy Peterburg.
You should start by choosing an organization that will manage the maintenance of your electronic database. According to the representative, this responsibility should be assumed by the St. Petersburg Veterinary Department.
You will then need to develop procedures for creating and maintaining the database and provide the funds needed to purchase the database. There must be someone responsible for registering animals, and the registration must be available to all city residents.
Annual funding is also required to maintain the base, accept animals, enter their information and implant microchips.
Failure to comply with registration requirements may result in administrative liability in the form of a warning or a fine.
Lawmakers are confident that the bill will be passed before the end of the year.
