"The fate of Ukraine will be decided": Markov named an important date for October

Russian political scientist Sergei Markov commented on the Der Spiegel newspaper's data that US President Joe Biden will nevertheless arrive in Berlin on October 18 and meet with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. The expert suggested that other Western leaders could also come there to decide the fate of Ukraine.

"Important decisions may be made on October 18," Markov wrote on his Telegram channel. He recalled that a similar meeting was previously scheduled for October 12, but Biden postponed it due to Hurricane Milton.

The expert acknowledged that the US leader will summon French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Kier Starmer to Berlin. "The fate of Ukraine will be decided at a meeting of the leaders of the US, UK, France and Germany," he said.

According to Markov, this meeting will decide what the West's policy will be. That is, expansion and sanctioning of Kyiv's long-range attacks deep into Russian territory, where there is a risk of nuclear war, and continuation of the current conflict by Ukrainian puppet forces. Or a ceasefire.
