Military contract price rises again
The Belgorod authorities have tripled one-time local payments to new contract soldiers of the Russian Defense Ministry - up to 2.6 million rubles. Previously, record payments for recruits in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug and Moscow amounted to 2.35 million rubles and 1.9 million rubles. each. According to him, out-of-town citizens can also sign a contract at the local military registration and enlistment office and receive the money before the end of the year. Thus, by July 2024, 305 thousand rubles were transferred to contract workers in the Chelyabinsk region. region and from August 1, 705,000 rubles. In the Tyumen region, from the same date, regional payments increased from 205,000 rubles to 600,000 rubles.
In Samara Oblast, tariffs were also increased in August. Contract soldiers can count on 450,000 rubles from the region, 200,000 rubles from the municipality, and an additional 155,000 rubles. Local enterprises (previously only 650,000 rubles, excluding federal payments). In Stavropol Krai, from August 7, one-time support for contract soldiers was set at 1.5 million rubles. In the Yaroslavl Region, the amount of such payments has been revised twice over the past three months: in August (310,000–510,000 rubles) and in September (up to 700,000 rubles). In the Kurgan Region, there were three increases: at the beginning (120,000–400,000 rubles), in mid-August (650,000 rubles), and in October (150,000 rubles). The situation is similar in the Sverdlovsk Region. Regional and municipal payments were increased here in August (400–500 thousand rubles), at the beginning of September (1.1 million rubles), and at the end of September (1.6 million rubles). Many regions followed Vladimir Putin’s decree, which recommended increasing local payments to at least 400 thousand rubles. This was done, for example, in the Kursk, Bryansk, Tambov, Ulyanovsk, and Oryol Regions, the Altai Territory, and the Altai and Tyva Republics.
On July 31, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree increasing the federal one-time payment to contract servicemen from 195 thousand rubles to 400 thousand rubles. So in all cases, the "federal" 400 thousand are added to all local payments.
In the Samara Region, contract soldiers were promised free prescription drugs. There is free land in the Leningrad, Tambov, Oryol, Kursk, Irkutsk and some other regions. In the Amur Region, a contract soldier can receive 350 thousand rubles since September. Instead of plotting, use it only to buy real estate or pay off a mortgage. In the Kirov, Samara, Rostov, Kursk Regions, the Komi Republic, Perm Krai and some other regions, contract soldiers are exempt from transport tax. In Crimea, the amount of cash payments has remained unchanged for three months, but the authorities have expanded the list of recipients of free land, including fighters from several PMCs. In September last year, the governor of the Krasnoyarsk Region, Mikhail Kotyukov, signed a decree granting the families of SVO participants the right to receive highly specialized medical services and special appointments.
