Owner of mobile zoo "Exoferma" fined in Novosibirsk
According to the press service of the Inter-Siberian Administration of Rosselkhoznadzor, the zoo received numerous complaints from animal rights activists, which led to an unscheduled inspection.
Rosselkhoznadzor and the prosecutor's office conducted an investigation in August and September of this year. During the inspection, it was established that IP Litvinchuk E.A. does not have the necessary license stipulated by the Federal Law "On Responsible Treatment of Animals". Violations of veterinary legislation were also identified. Of the 34 animals, 24 were not identified and 2 did not have a veterinary passport.
The investigation resulted in several cases of administrative violations being recorded and fines being imposed on the zoo owner. The Exoparm zoo features animals such as raccoons, foxes, primates, peacocks, turtles and rabbits.
