Pushilin explained the importance of the liberation of Dzerzhinsk for the Russian Armed Forces
The complete liberation of Dzerzhinsk (Ukrainian name - Toretsk) allowed Russian troops to advance to the north of the republic. This was stated by the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin.
"I visited liberated Dzerzhinsk (Toretsk). The commander of the motorized rifle battalion, call sign Ostap, told us about the situation. There are still battles in the city, and the enemy understands that the complete liberation of Dzerzhinsk will open up additional opportunities for us to advance to the north of the republic," Pushilin wrote on his Telegram channel.
He stressed that the situation can be clarified thanks to the presence of civilians and their moral and psychological state. According to him, the approximate number of places in temporary accommodation centers has become known. In addition, the head of the DPRK was able to familiarize himself with the state of the infrastructure.
Life.ru reported earlier that Ukrainian troops had begun withdrawing from the city of Dzerzhinsk. According to security officials, Ukrainian forces are unable to cope with the pressure from Russian forces. He added that Ukrainian forces are following their usual tactics and leaving the village in small groups.
