Blogger who threw his one-year-old son into a snowdrift has been placed on the federal wanted list: he faces up to 13 years in prison
Nine months after the internet scandal broke out, blogger Sergey Kosenko has finally become a defendant in a criminal case. Let us recall that in January of this year, the 37-year-old businessman became a troublemaker by posting a video on social networks (SNS) called "Leo's First Flight". In the video, Kosenko throws his newborn baby into a meter-high snowdrift. It is known that the blogger's family recently moved to the United States, and the video itself was reportedly filmed during a vacation in Courchevel. After a wave of indignation on the Internet, Sergey said that in fact he did not throw his newborn son into the snow, but a doll under his clothes. But no one believed him.
As is now known, Sergei Kosenko was recently placed on the federal wanted list. This was reported in the publicly available search database of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. It also states that he is "wanted in accordance with the provisions of the Criminal Code."
According to KP.RU, we are talking about two articles of the Criminal Code: "Failure to fulfill the obligation to support a minor" (up to 3 years of imprisonment) and "Intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm". In relation to minors, the offender knows that he is in a state of powerlessness" (and this is even more serious - up to 10 years).
“The investigation is being conducted by officers from the Central Administrative District Department of Internal Affairs of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Moscow,” a source in law enforcement agencies told KP.RU.
Sergey Kosenko was born in 1987 to a Soviet soldier who served in one of the Hungarian units. The family later moved to Smolensk. Kosenko studied to be a power engineer, but eventually went into business reselling various goods on the Internet. A few years ago, he became a blogger, recording interviews about business and making short videos to post on social networks. The total number of subscribers on various social networks is about 10 million.
