В Иркутской области произошла авария с участием поезда и автомобиля
A freight train collided with a passenger car at the Kudoelskaya station crossing of the East Siberian Railway in the Irkutsk Region. This was reported by the press service of the Eastern Interregional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Transport.
"The train driver applied emergency braking but was unable to avoid a collision," the statement said.
The medics who arrived at the scene were unable to save the driver and one of the two passengers.
Preliminary investigative checks are conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation on violations of traffic safety rules and the operation of railway transport.
On October 13, two trucks and three cars collided on the A-108 highway in the urban district of Pavlovo-Posad in the Moscow region.
On October 11, a road accident occurred in the Astrakhan region, when a concrete mixer and a rotary bus collided. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the driver of the MAZ truck drove into the oncoming lane, causing a collision with a LIAZ bus, as a result of which 17 passengers were injured.
