206 people evacuated after collapse at psychiatric hospital in Korenovsk
After the collapse of the building of the mental hospital in Korenovsk, Krasnodar Krai, 206 people were evacuated and placed in nearby institutions. This was reported by the regional operational headquarters of the Telegram channel.
That night, the ceiling of the two-story clinic collapsed. Not a single woman could be saved.
The hospital said: "198 patients and eight staff members were evacuated to a nearby facility."
Emergency services and rescue workers are currently working at the scene. The cause of the incident is still unknown.
On behalf of the Governor of Krasnodar Krai Veniamin Kondratyev, the Minister of Labor and Social Development of the Krai, Sergei Garkusha, and Mayor Maxim Shutylev arrived at the scene of the emergency.
