Hurricane wind damaged trees in Novosibirsk
In Akademgorodok, several trees could not withstand the bad weather. On Koptyugi Street, a pine tree fell, blocking the road, and another tree damaged parked cars. City Council deputy Erlan Bazhanov reported the incident on his page on the social network VKontakte.
Daewoo employees in the Sovetsky District quickly began work to eliminate the consequences of the hurricane. At the same time, snow fell in some districts of the Novosibirsk Region, such as Suzunsky, Maslyaninsky and Ordynsky, which led to the formation of ice on the M-54 highway connecting the region with the Altai Territory.
Forecasters warn that the cold weather will continue, but precipitation and strong winds are not expected.
