The Times: Doctors to accompany King Charles III on trip to Australia and Samoa
British King Charles III will visit Australia and Samoa with two doctors, The Times newspaper reports, citing sources.
The publication says the king will temporarily give up cancer treatment to visit Commonwealth member states. The tour starts on October 18 and will last 11 days.
Your doctor will likely take a container of blood components with you on your trip in case you need a transfusion. Also, as journalists reported, Charles III's trip was designed to keep him and Queen Camilla from becoming too tired.
Earlier, the media reported that the Royal Court was considering the king's cancer and the need to prepare in a timely manner for his death and the transition to power. After the death of Charles III, his eldest son, Prince William, is expected to inherit the throne.
King's cancer was discovered in February this year. The monarch immediately began treatment, and doctors recommended postponing public engagements.
Soon after, Charles III admitted that he had lost his sense of taste during treatment. In early September, journalists wrote that Charles III's health was showing positive dynamics.
