A major fire broke out in an industrial zone in Novosibirsk
Firefighters have extinguished a major fire that broke out in the industrial zone of the Leninsky District, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Novosibirsk Region reports.
Thus, at one o’clock in the morning on October 12, an abandoned three-story building with an area of 4,000 square meters caught fire on Stantsionnaya Street.
Due to strong winds, the building caught fire and quickly spread. Three and a half hours later, the lights went out. Among other things, ladder trucks were used to deliver water.
"It is still in the process of being filled and dismantled. There are no casualties," the department's press service wrote.
It was established that 67 people and 20 units of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire.
