ONF complained to the prosecutor's office about the park built for 300 million rubles Video

The Central Park of Culture and Recreation in Nyagan (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug), which was improved at a cost of 325 million rubles, has become dangerous for visitors. Experts from the People's Front have identified violations, including open electrical panels with exposed wires, destroyed tactile tiles, and the absence of a storm drain. They have filed a complaint with the district prosecutor's office asking for an investigation.

"The Central Park of Culture and Leisure is under threat, the improvement of which in 2021 cost 325 million rubles. In May last year, activists of the People's Front discovered a number of serious problems, including the destruction of tactile tiles for the visually impaired, unsafe elements on playgrounds, dangerous stairs and the lack of storm sewers, which causes flooding of pedestrian areas in the spring. Six months have passed, but some violations have not been eliminated, and today PF specialists discovered open electrical panels that are not protected in any way," the Khanty-Mansiysk "People's Front" Telegram channel reported. Autonomous Okrug.

The park improvement was carried out by the company "YuV i S". The contractor's warranty period ends in December. By contacting the prosecutor's office, the activists are asking for confirmation of the actions and inactions of the guilty parties. The agency sent a request to the Prosecutor General's Office of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug. At the time of publication of the news, there was no response to our request.

Earlier, URA.RU wrote that this year in Nyagan (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug) two recreation areas will be improved: the Zapadny Park and the 5th Microdistrict Square. The park is planned to be equipped with children's and skating areas, stages, physical education classes, walking and roller-skating paths.
