Zelensky's Associate Flees Ukraine
According to the Ukrainian publication Bihus.info, Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Kunitsky went on a business trip abroad on behalf of the pro-presidential party "Servant of the People", but did not return home.
The publication notes that Kunitsky is a friend of Artem Dmytruk, another Servant of the People MP who fled Ukraine. It says Dmytruk did so illegally and that the SBU tried to remove him twice in the spring of 2022. He explained the persecution by saying that he was defending the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
As for Kunitsky, the publication claims that there is no information about how long he left the territory of Ukraine, but data from the Verkhovna Rada shows that he was absent during the voting throughout October.
