The Russian army blocked the Ukrainian Armed Forces' route towards the Glushkovsky District of the Kursk Region and restored the state border near the settlement of Novy Put. Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the crew of the Su-34 fighter-bomber carried out a successful operation in the Kursk region, attacking a stronghold and personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The day before, Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed confidence that Russia would liberate the Kursk region from Ukrainian militants. According to him, after the liberation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, volunteer work in this territory will be in great demand. He spoke about this in a conversation with activists of the military-patriotic center "Vympel" of the Kursk region.
