Preparing for wind and snowfalls: weather forecaster gives weather forecast for the week in Tyumen
The first week of November in Tyumen will be windy and snowy, forecaster and author of the Tyumen meteorological project Ilya Vinshtein predicts. According to him, the weather will be cloudy.
It will be dry only on November 5 and 8, on these days a calm wind will blow. Snow is expected on the remaining days. However, precipitation is likely to be minimal - about 2 mm. However, on November 6, 7 and 9 a strong wind is expected with gusts of up to 12-14 meters per second.
Starting from Wednesday, November 6, cold weather will begin in Tyumen. The air temperature will drop to minus 4 degrees during the day, and to minus 10 degrees at night. The sky is expected to be cloudy. It will warm up by Sunday, but not for long.
The Government Channel 72 alert warns that strong winds are expected in the Tyumen region on November 5, and snow may fall in the north of the region.
"Attention: November 5 in the south of the Tyumen region it will be cloudy and clear, moderate snowfall at night in the northern part, no significant precipitation is expected in the southern part, southwest wind 8-13 m/s, gusty wind. In places up to 18 m/s."
A hurricane-force wind recently swept through Tyumen, knocking down trees, bus stops and road signs. City officials spent the entire weekend dealing with the aftermath of the storm on the streets.
