Выставка «Пути творчества» в Воронеже: семь женских портретов, притягивающих взгляд
7 female portraits from the Voronezh exhibition that capture attention from the first moment
Not long ago, a rather interesting exhibition "Roads of Creativity" (16 years and older) was held in the exhibition hall No. 8 on Kirov Street, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the foundation of the Voronezh branch of the Union of Artists. . Several paintings and sculptures immediately attracted my attention. Among them are portraits of women. I think that 5 of them are the best.
Of course, right at the threshold, attention is drawn to "The Queen of the Hall", "The Red Maiden" (2023) by Alexander Zolotykh. A curious dissonance appears. A smartphone in a red case in the hand of a girl in a national costume, bare feet on the parquet, hands humbly lowered, as if refusing to take a selfie. Then attention is concentrated on the girl's face, the details of the outfit... "The Red Maiden" is good!
"Self-Portrait" by Natalia Parshina (2011) is beautiful. "Svetlana" by Viktor Boychenko (2024) stops nearby. "Tanya" by Igor Skorikov (2013) is truly mesmerizing. Here, under the mysterious gaze of the model, you see the details of her costume. A bright scarf, a pile on her sleeve, a maple leaf in her hand... And then you realize that you have started to draw. Portrait of Tanya, the artist turned all the photographs "in the frame" facing the wall. So as not to distract the viewer's gaze and not to disturb Tanya's quiet beauty.
"Baba Anya" by Svetlana Lugovich. Summer light and shadow. Grandson's summer. In the background she and her fall. But autumn is warm, long and pleasant for loved ones.
"Waterfall" by Anna Chernikova (2024) is a stunning combination of bronze and glass, water falling from above, a cool stream of eternity and the briefly frozen body of a young, living woman. A fleeting coexistence of coolness without outlines and forms and confident and clear lines drawn by God himself. Adam is not yet in this world. The world around you disappears too. At least when viewing this work by Anna Chernikova.
I also liked <The Artist> (unfortunately, Autoresa's name was not given). Anticipation of the future, courage and challenge, brewing, almost ripe, just appearing on the canvas in an attempt to achieve the ideal. And the carelessness of youth - a half-removed shoe of the left foot...
I saw another interesting thing at the exhibition. But more about that in the next post.
In the meantime, I'll collect my jokes and photos in a notebook so you can see all this beauty for yourself. Admission to the exhibition is free.
