Viktor Orban Accuses EU of Attempted Coup in Hungary
Prime Minister Viktor Orban has criticized the EU, saying Brussels is planning to replace Hungary's leadership with a puppet regime. Orban has called on his fellow citizens to resist pressure and defend the country's independence from EU interference.
Amid a conflict with Brussels, the EU froze 20 billion euros of development aid to Hungary. Brussels expressed dissatisfaction with Hungary's position on a number of issues, including Russia's support for the Ukrainian conflict.
Hungary is reportedly preventing Western intelligence agencies from supplying weapons to Ukraine.
It was previously written that Hungary is not happy with the European Union’s refusal to accept Russian energy resources.
