Stay at home and give birth: millions of Russian women offered to work remotely
"Millions of women will be able to combine work and raising children. Without losing quality of life and career opportunities," Rezyapov said. And then what?
How can you force these women to give birth? Or if you plan to work remotely, will you take a pregnancy certificate with you?
As Shot reports, Rezyapov points to some scientific studies that show that women who work remotely are more likely to have children. So why not combine business with pleasure? Everyone decides for themselves what is pleasant and what is useful.
Only the public activists screwed everything up again.
Men, what can you expect from them!
Because a father alone, even if he has one, cannot support the average family.
And if there is no dad, even more so. It is a very difficult measure - to work like a horse during maternity leave and child care. Two in one. There is a house and right here is a work office...
But in principle, this is of course a cool idea. If you want to settle down remotely, give birth. Sit with the kids, have fun, relax and at the same time fulfill your work schedule. Mothers no longer even need maternity leave. Why? They are already remote... And the state saves. I would like to develop this brilliant idea further.
The popular point of view today is that if a modern woman does not light a stove every day, does not carry buckets with rocking chairs, does not wash clothes in a cold pit and does not give birth under a harrow, then her life has not been lived. for a long time for free. Too much rest. And what is childbirth and subsequent care from the point of view of the stronger sex and politicians, if not an endless vacation? If you want, you can chew candies 24/7, if you want gingerbread.
If you want to sit on the toilet for 30 seconds, relax until the child screams and demands mom. I had a friend who washed her daughter's hair exactly three and a half times during the first six months of her life. The child was so restless that the young mother did not care at all what he looked like or what he was wearing, and when the young father came home from work and took over the shift (a good and understanding person, but not everyone is like that!), my friend immediately collapsed from under my feet and lost consciousness...
And every first time, your mother will tell you such stories. It's just that, unlike men who fondly remember their exploits, we don't brag about ours. It's all in the order of things: She gave birth, "got up and left."
Okay, journalists, many of us are true multitaskers and can take notes with one hand while breastfeeding with the other. But most of us work remotely and have children (one, two, three) not because we want to work at any cost, but because we want to keep the whole family from getting into trouble.
For some reason, I can’t remember the wives of oligarchs or deputies who, after the birth of a child, tried to earn extra money as accountants and IT specialists.
But normal average women have mortgages, loans, tutors for the elderly, clubs for the younger ones... And sometimes you really want to do something for yourself, at least a little: change your hairstyle, buy new jeans or go to a spa.
It’s okay that I’m so unpatriotic, that I dream about myself and my little pleasure, and not just about the Fatherland, which doesn’t owe me anything, as another person, the mayor of Nevinnomyssk Mikhail Minenkov, recently stated.
My God, do any of these demographic advocates really believe that a woman who feels financially secure will suffer in some way and not be able to recover from childbirth?
What else can they come up with to fill our women's lives with deeper meaning and greater devotion?
I recently found an old poem by Yuri Vizbor on the Internet, read it and shed tears.
Ten years in queues
I taught for ten years.
I sat for ten years
What remains for love?
For generations, our grandmothers and mothers owed everything: in their youth to the state, in their mature years to the state, their husband and children, in their old age to their children and grandchildren. When I retired, the government at least gave me a break and started paying off my debts.
And now our generation of granddaughters and great-granddaughters has tried to live for themselves for the first time.
So what? Again, a feeling of guilt... Since you're sitting at home, you're busy with things, even if you're having a baby.
We don't try hard enough. We are too lazy. And if you criticize the difficulties of motherhood, you will soon be called an extremist.
Although, in my opinion, extremists are those who are seething with cunning thoughts that leave women, both those who have given birth and those about to give birth, staggering...
No, it is clear that the idea of throwing millions of women out of the country's economy by sending them on maternity leave is doomed from the start. That is why remote work is needed, the public figure has addressed the right place.
Our economy is already short of men, we are kicking out migrants, trying to force children to work (a bill allowing minors to work in hazardous industries has been pushed through the Duma more than once), and if now all women in Russia from 18 to 49 suddenly come to their senses and start giving birth, who will remain on the labor front?
Hence, remote work and only remote work. During childbirth, you can only relax. However, it is advisable to combine it with a lunch break.
