AEMET: в Валенсии завершился «метеорологический кризис»
The "meteorological crisis" has ended in the autonomous community of Valencia, RIA Novosti reports, citing the press service of the Spanish Meteorological Agency (AEMET).
On Tuesday, October 29, heavy rain fell in several areas of Spain. The southern and eastern regions of the kingdom, where the level of weather risks is highest, were particularly hard hit. The death toll from flooding has exceeded 211.
Earlier it was reported that the Spanish authorities would deploy an additional 5,000 soldiers to help the Valencia region. Madrid will also send an additional 5,000 law enforcement officers to areas affected by the natural disaster.
