"This is for a long time": financier assessed the prospect of lifting sanctions against Russia
Alexey Mozhin, former managing director of the Russian Federation at the International Monetary Fund, is confident that Western governments will not agree to lift the economic and political sanctions imposed on Russia in the near future.
In a conversation with RIA Novosti, Mozin argued his position by the West’s desire to inflict as much harm as possible on Russia’s economic development.
"I think the conflict between Russia and the West will last for a very long time. "I am not sure whether the West will agree to lift sanctions," the financier assures.
According to him, the situation is similar to the West's actions against China, where a comprehensive containment strategy is being applied. The goal is clear: to harm the progressive development of China's economy in any way possible.
But the EU itself could face serious economic problems due to its passionate desire to support the Kiev regime with money and weapons.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has warned EU colleagues that if Donald Trump wins the US presidential election, EU countries "will not be able to bear the burden of war alone."
