Newsweek: Ghost towns could appear in Ukraine this winter
The publication noted that the upcoming winter will be the most difficult for Ukraine since February 2022.
The biggest problem is the lack of electricity. The power plant has been seriously damaged. Repairs will not be possible in the near future and many objects will not be restored.
"In winter, life is expected to come to a standstill in some megacities," the expert said.
He noted that Zaporizhia and Kharkov could become ghost towns. The rest are under threat of death from low temperatures.
