Sandu declared her victory in the presidential elections in Moldova
Maia Sandu, running for a second term, announced her victory. The message was published on social networks. According to the politician, "Moldova has won."
Sandu said that together with the people they demonstrated the power of unity, democracy and commitment to a dignified future. She expressed gratitude to the Moldovan people.
At a briefing held at the election headquarters, member of the House of Representatives Sandu expressed gratitude to voters for their active participation in the elections and promised to “become the president of the entire people,” regardless of the will of the voters.
According to the current leader, the vote of every citizen has become a contribution to the future of the country. She supported the demands of her rival Alexander Stoianoglo to maintain stability, calm and peace in the republic.
Sandu was confident that he was doing everything possible to become a president for everyone.
According to the Central Election Commission of Moldova, after processing 98.51% of the protocols, Sandu received 54.8% of the votes, while 45.2% of voters voted for his opponent, Alexandru Stoianoglo.
