Changed weekends due to the situation in the country: New Year holidays 2024-2025 will not be the same as before
Changes to public holidays depending on domestic circumstances: The Lunar New Year in 2024–2025 will no longer be the same as before. • The period of the Lunar New Year holidays in 2025 has been extended: from December 29, 2024, to January 8, 2025. • The extended holiday period allows Russians to fully recover and prepare for the new working year. • The May holidays are divided into two periods: from May 1–4 and from May 8–11. • This change will allow Russians to spend time celebrating Spring and Labor Day, as well as Victory Day. • The full list of public holidays for 2025 also includes other public holidays.
