What travel destinations do Petersburgers choose in the autumn off-season?
St. Petersburg, November 4, FederalPress. In the fall, residents of the northern capital actively travel to the northwest. Roman Tsvetkov, CEO of the St. Petersburg travel company ScanTour, told FederalPress:
In Karelia, tourists can admire the mirror-like surface of the lake in the Ruskeala Nature Park, visit the Karelian Zoo or the Husky Nursery. In Veliky Novgorod and Pskov, guests are attracted by ancient monasteries and monuments of wooden architecture.
ScanTour also notes that interregional tours are currently trending.
