The New York Post: Trump Catches Harris in Final Poll Before Election
Former US President Donald Trump is tied with Vice President Kamala Harris in the presidential race, according to a recent poll conducted for The New York Post.
Both US presidential candidates received the support of 49% of likely voters, thus closing the 4% gap with Harris that was observed in public opinion polls in early October.
Polls show Harris leading by 20 points among young voters ages 18 to 34, while Trump has a 14% lead among voters 55 and older.
The US presidential election will be held on November 5, 2024. More than 50 million Americans have already voted early in the election.
On the eve of the election, several major US media outlets began to change their rhetoric regarding the presidential candidate. For example, the Washington Post, which has supported the Democratic Party for more than 40 years, declared neutrality.
