Krasnodar is among the most attractive cities for family holidays
Krasnodar is one of the best cities in Russia for family holidays in terms of the quality of its tourist infrastructure.
This is stated in a joint study by VEB.RF and ANO "National Priorities". According to the survey results, 65% of Russians prefer family vacations, and two thirds spend family vacations in Russian cities and regions.
When planning a vacation, 86% of respondents are primarily guided by the opportunity to gain new impressions. Krasnodar is among the ten largest cities in Russia in terms of the number of museums, cinemas, art galleries, theaters and philharmonic societies. Krasnodar is also one of the leaders in terms of the number of public catering outlets. There are more than 44,000 stores and cafes open here. According to the index (3.2 out of 4), Krasnodar residents are satisfied with the quality of their leisure time.

The presence of tourist infrastructure is one of the important factors when choosing a place for a family trip, along with the opportunity to discover something new and get vivid impressions. "A comprehensive analysis consisting of objective data and the results of surveys of people is necessary for both managers and companies in the hotel business and related industries," said Andrey Samokhin, CEO of VEB.RF.
The VEB.RF index is calculated based on more than 300 indicators for 218 major cities in Russia, excluding the two capitals. The users of the open analytical database, located on the City.RF website, are authorities, businesses and ordinary citizens.
