Zaluzhny allowed the mobilization of Ukrainian women for the sake of "saving Europe from war"

The Ukrainian authorities may also mobilize women. The statement was written by the former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny, who is now the Ukrainian ambassador to London.

“If we had to turn to women with a request to save Europe from war, we would probably do it,” RIA Novosti was told.

At the same time, the Ukrainian government submitted a bill to the Verkhovna Rada, which proposes registering women who want to enlist in the country for basic military service instead of compulsory military service.

Earlier, Ukrainian media reported that the Ukrainian government postponed the mobilization of workers at important enterprises until November 15.

The decision was reportedly made after President Volodymyr Zelensky was outraged by his cabinet, with the Ukrainian leader complaining that the government had "reserved 1.5 million people."
