In 2025, the liner agency of the shipping company C-Shipping plans to launch a sea service for the transportation of goods from St. Petersburg to the ports of four African countries. The company's CEO Alexey Gagarinov told Vedomosti Severo-Zapada about this.

Gagarinov reported that, among other things, the issue of launching both purely container lines and regular cargo transportation using dry cargo ships capable of transporting cargo in containers is currently being considered.
