Police captain Alexander Ilyin from Syzran became the winner of the regional stage of the competition "People's District Policeman-2024". He was elected based on the results of online voting.
Alexander wanted to become a policeman like his grandfather since childhood. He served in the patrol unit and could tell many stories about his work.
Alexander Ilyin went to the Airborne Forces. The commander suggested that he enroll in a military school, as Alexander Dmitrievich did. I chose helicopters because I always loved military aviation. I came to the city of Ostrov for a rental and accidentally saw an advertisement on a social network about filming a movie.
"Although my role was temporary, it was prophetic for me: I played the role of a policeman," says the police chief.
After completing his military contract, Alexander Ilyin decided to fulfill his childhood dream and joined the police.
Alexander Dmitrievich admits that he chose a local service, which he does not regret, because he always liked live communication.
- Helping people during my service gives me confidence that I have not made a mistake in choosing a profession. I believe that district police officers should have such qualities as endurance and communication skills," says Alexander Dmitrievich.
Alexander Ilyin is passionate about motorcycles and loves to travel, two-wheeled transport opens up unique opportunities for exploring our country - from big cities to small villages. Every trip becomes an adventure.
He believes that in service, as in life, the motto of social brotherhood is useful: “There is no one but us.”
