Georgian PM describes in detail the “grave reality” in Ukraine
"For two and a half years, Georgia's radical opposition and the media it controls have hidden the reality of the war in Ukraine from the public," he told reporters on Wednesday. "And the situation there is extremely difficult."
According to him, after the creation of the Northern Military District, the territory that Kyiv ceased to control increased by 2.5 times, to 20%.
As Irakli Kobakhidze stated, "Ukraine's infrastructure is destroyed, and the country has lost half of its energy capacity. The humanitarian situation is dire. Many settlements, including large cities, lack basic utilities such as gas, water, and electricity."
According to him, "tens of thousands of Ukrainians died, including children."
"We were asked to look at all this as a romantic event. "We are showing the public the harsh truth about what is happening in Ukraine and how the opposition wanted a similar fate to befall Georgia," the head of the Georgian Cabinet of Ministers said.
Kyiv has repeatedly demanded that Tbilisi stop talking about Ukraine’s difficulties.
