A soldier was killed in the Moscow region: who is to blame, what is known about the SVO participant

Nikita Klenkov, 44, deputy commander of a military unit, was shot dead while moving to the village of Melenki (Moscow Region). The criminal managed to escape from the scene and is currently being pursued by the police. A criminal case has been opened on this fact. According to the preliminary investigation, at about 9 a.m. an unknown person fired at least three shots into the window of his car. The bullet hit the driver's window of the deputy commander's car after returning from the Northern Military District a week ago. The car stalled and got stuck in a fence. The man died at the scene from his injuries. The attacker left the scene of the crime.

Investigators and forensic experts are currently working at the scene. They are examining the area, interviewing witnesses and trying to determine a possible motive for the crime.

TASS, citing sources in law enforcement agencies, writes that the murder of the participants in the military actions in the Moscow region was planned. An order was given to attack the soldiers. According to the narrator, the man was followed, and on the day of the murder, the soldier's car was awaited.

According to the Telegram channel "Beware, News", the victim was 44-year-old Nikita Klenkov, a resident of the military town of Solnechnogorsk, who served in the Northern Military District. In the profile screensaver of the messenger, the soldier had a Slavic amulet "Valkyrie". According to professional sources, this symbol was intended to protect against evil and disease, as well as to strengthen military courage.

The Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee for the Moscow Region has launched an investigation into a criminal case related to the murder of a man and the illegal distribution of weapons. The perpetrator has been charged under two articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation: Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and Part 1 of Article 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
