Transport Prosecutor's Office Takes Control of Utair Flight Delay to Surgut

The Tyumen Transport Prosecutor's Office has taken control of the UTair flight from Tyumen to Surgut (Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug) that was delayed for five hours. The Ural Transport Prosecutor's Office reported on its Telegram channel that the flight was suspended due to the lack of a replacement aircraft.

"At the Roshchino airport in Tyumen, a delay of the regular flight 102 of PJSC UTair Airlines on the Tyumen-Surgut route is expected due to a shortage of spare aircraft. Passengers were warned in advance about the flight delay. "We respect the rights of passengers under the control of the Tyumen Transport Prosecutor's Office," the message continues.

The flight was scheduled to depart for Surgut on October 16 at 21:30. However, the flight was delayed until October 17, and the expected departure time was 02:30 local time.
