Yekaterinburg resident Georgy Sh. was vacationing in Istanbul with his wife. On October 5, when the couple was walking in the city center, a conflict occurred between local residents on the street. During the confrontation, the tourist was seriously injured, and his wife took cover.
Georgy works for a metals company and is currently hospitalized at his home hospital in a stable condition.
"The Istanbul clinic decided not to remove the bullet lodged in the lower back. (The spine miraculously remained intact.) The operation was ultimately performed here in Yekaterinburg," the portal's source added.
Previously, travelers who had traveled to almost all countries of the world identified the most dangerous places. Among them were Afghanistan, Haiti and Papua New Guinea.
