Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug residents complain about cockroaches in a Russian Railways train carriage
Passengers on the Volgograd-Nizhnevartovsk train complained about cockroaches in the carriages. A resident of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug told URA.RU that during a recent trip on train 107, insects were freely roaming around the cabin.
"We were traveling in the fifth carriage of the Volgograd-Nizhnevartovsk train, and cockroaches were crawling boldly along the walls and floor. We called the train conductor and offered three options. The idea is to set a trap and continue the journey, changing to another carriage in Kazan or later to Yekaterinburg," the passenger said.
In Kazan, people did not change trains because they stopped at night. I had to live with cockroaches the entire way to Yekaterinburg. The URA.RU agency sent a request to Russian Railways asking for a comment on the situation. At the time of publication of the news, no response had been received.
Earlier, URA.RU wrote that residents of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug complained about the condition of trains on the Priobye-Yekaterinburg line. They spoke of cold rooms, leaking ceilings and a shortage of drinking water.
