Rostelecom presented a video surveillance platform for the digitalization of Tuva
Rostelecom presented its own solution — an intelligent video surveillance platform for the safety and comfort of Tuva residents. The presentation took place at the forum "Digital Modernization of the Region". Republic of Tuva: Updating the regional digital transformation strategy "ITuva-2024".
The main goal of the event, which was attended by representatives of the public sector and business, was to create an environment for fruitful interaction between IT product developers and consumers, thereby ensuring technological progress in the republic.

"We are working to improve the quality of the entire public administration system by introducing modern information, communication and intellectual systems to improve the standard of living of our people."
Rostelecom experts said that the implementation of a local video surveillance platform will allow real-time collection and analysis of visual data on the situation in the republic, for example, on improvement, public safety, construction, roads and the state of the environment. The IT solution has extensive functionality and can be integrated with the Safe City software and hardware complex and the 112 System.
"A significant advantage of our platform is its multi-vendor nature. We have provided the ability to use several analysis algorithms simultaneously, while maintaining maximum confidence in the results. "The system can process biometric data, transportation, context and other parameters."
Rostelecom's video surveillance platform operates successfully in 23 constituent entities of the Russian Federation. Thanks to this, the number of crimes decreased by 10-20% per year, and the detection rate increased by 40%. In total, more than 500 thousand cameras operate throughout the country, recording tens of thousands of violations in the transport sector, as well as in the housing and utilities sector and landscaping.
