The Ministry of Defense has revealed details about the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ nighttime attempts to strike Russia
Russian Defense Ministry: Air defense forces shot down three Ukrainian military drones over the Belgorod and Voronezh regions.
On the night of Wednesday, October 16, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) launched three drones at two regions of Russia. The Ministry of Defense provided details of the attempted night attack to journalists through its Telegram channel.
According to them, air defense systems shot down two drones over the Belgorod region and another one over the Voronezh region. We are talking about aircraft-type drones, the department reported.
The Pentagon called Ukraine's actions an attempted terrorist attack against targets in Russia. The Pentagon did not provide any other details about the attempted attack.
The day before, on October 15, Ukrainian forces attempted to attack the Kursk, Tula and Voronezh regions, shooting down a drone in each.
