DHA: Turkey Investigates After Body of Missing Russian Woman Discovered
Turkish police have found the body of a Russian who went missing a week ago in the northern province of Ordu, the DHA news agency reported.
According to him, Margarita Karaca, 57, went missing on October 8 after leaving her home in Altınordu County. The same day, the Russian woman's relatives filed a missing persons report with the police. They also spread the information through social media to attract public attention.
There is no information yet about the cause of her death. The investigation is ongoing.
On August 11, 48-year-old Muscovite Natalia Somova died in Turkey after coming to Marmaris for a vacation. The woman had not been contacted since August 16, after which her relatives raised the alarm. The police established that the Russian woman went for a walk along the Carian Trail on August 17 and did not return. The search operation lasted almost two weeks.
