The Ministry of Internal Affairs explained the reason for the failures in the work of the department's websites
The previous evening, there was a failure in the operation of the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Transport Safety Board. The department cited broken communication lines as the reason for the difficulty in access. Our specialists are currently working on your issue.
The official representative of the department, Irina Volk, reported that interruptions in communication lines disrupted the operation of the websites of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate.
"Currently, the "Official Internet Site of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation", a site that is part of the hardware and software complex (Hardware and software complex. - RBC), is not working due to technical reasons beyond the control of the department (the connection line is interrupted)," she wrote on her Telegram channel.
Volk added that experts are currently working to solve the problem.
Complaints about the problem on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate began to arrive at around 18:00 Moscow time the previous evening. According to the State System for Detecting, Preventing and Eliminating the Consequences of Computer Attacks (GosSOPKA), the error had been observed since 16:03 Moscow time.
As already mentioned, the largest number of complaints comes from Moscow and St. Petersburg. Service failures (62%) and website failures (34%) occurred mainly in the work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs resources. 1% each occurred due to errors in mobile applications and personal accounts.
