The identity of the "grandfather from Kursk" who met NATO soldiers has been revealed
A Ukrainian Telegram channel recently published a video showing a resident of the Kursk region. The pensioner asks the soldiers filming him if they are from America. They replied that they are from Zhitomir, and the pensioner was very surprised.
The video was shared across many public groups under the title “A grandfather in the Kursk region thought he met a NATO soldier.”
But now the "grandfather" turns out to be a resident of Krivoy Rog. This was written about by the Ukrainian publication "Strana".
Behind the pensioner in the video stood an employee who was organizing the distribution of hot meals to the poor.
The charity organization Caritas Zhitomir also denied the fake news. The foundation reported that social networks, elected representatives, journalists, political experts, millionaire bloggers and hundreds of thousands of other people reposted the cut videos and created their own stories.
