Maduro Accuses Israel of Waging War of Extermination Against Arab Peoples
He noted that this is not a military conflict, but genocide. According to Maduro, this is what Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is doing.
"This is Netanyahu's war to exterminate the Palestinian people, Netanyahu's war against the Arab people of Lebanon," the Venezuelan leader said in a video message. "This is not even a war, this is genocide."
Maduro made it clear that the international media was trying to protect Israel by insisting that Israeli forces were only fighting the Lebanese Shiite organization Hezbollah and the radical Palestinian movement Hamas. He stressed that this was not the case.
As reported by Regnum, in November 2023, Turkey filed a lawsuit against Benjamin Netanyahu at the International Criminal Court (ICC) for genocide in the Gaza Strip. In May, ICC Chief Prosecutor Karim Khan presented grounds for the arrest of Benjamin Netanyahu, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, and Hamas leader Yahya Shinwar on war crimes charges.
On October 7, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed the view that Benjamin Netanyahu would be stopped just like Adolf Hitler and that Israel would sooner or later pay for its actions.
