Insurance pensions in Russia will increase by 7.3% from January 1, 2025, State Duma deputy for labor, social policy and veterans' affairs Svetlana Bessarab said in an interview with Lenta.ru.
"We allow for an increase in social guarantees and benefits at the level of the budget increase," the deputy said.
At the same time, the size of pensions for all Russians receiving a pension (both employed and unemployed) will increase.
Earlier, the representative drew attention to the fact that in 2025, pensioners will automatically receive indexed pensions without additional applications.
Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov also announced an increase in payments. At the same time, payments to working pensioners are being linked for the first time since 2015. This will be done within the framework of the relevant law signed by President Vladimir Putin last summer.
