World Breast Cancer Day is celebrated annually on October 15. The goal is to talk about how to prevent diseases and encourage women to pay more attention to their health.

According to Didenko, it is impossible to prevent breast cancer 100%, but you can reduce the risk of its development. For example, if you maintain a healthy lifestyle.

In particular, Didenko advised to give up fast food, fatty, fried and smoked foods. These products have a negative effect on the body and contribute to excessive weight gain. Nutrition should be balanced with the necessary content of proteins, fats and carbohydrates.

The expert urged people not to forget to undergo regular self-diagnosis and preventive examinations. Women under 40 are recommended to undergo an ultrasound examination annually, and from 40 years of age it is recommended to undergo a mammogram every two years.

The expert noted: "The risk of developing this disease is increased by certain gene mutations" and "We look at whether close female relatives, such as mothers or grandmothers, have breast cancer."
