Russian woman leaves newborn baby in Antalya airport toilet
As reported by the diplomatic mission, diplomats are currently in contact with mothers and newborns hospitalized in local hospitals. The mission is ready to provide them with the necessary consular assistance, TASS reports.
According to NTV, police detained a Russian woman at Istanbul airport who left her newborn baby unattended in a toilet. Security guards found the child after a call from a cleaning lady. The child was given first aid on the spot and then taken to hospital for further examination. The mother and friend reportedly tried to quickly pass through passport control, but were immediately detained.
